Karma Gyesera 2027: Price, Specs and Release Date

Karma Automotive has shaved $25,005 off its earlier price target for the Gyesera before the model even reached market. Back in August 2025 the automaker was talking around $165,000; now the 2027 Gyesera carries a base MSRP of $139,995. That’s a drop of more than 15%, with deliveries to dealers set for December 2026. The fresh release moves the project out of a years-long announcement phase and into an actual commercial one.

The engineering picture has also sharpened. Gyesera’s official specs page lists 566 horsepower and 740 Nm of torque, a 0–60 mph time of 3.7 seconds, and a top speed of 235 km/h. A 28.1 kWh battery delivers up to 129 km of pure-electric range, while total EREV range reaches roughly 579 km. The body sits on an aluminum spaceframe with aluminum and carbon-fiber panels; curb weight comes in around 2.3 tonnes.

That’s a notable shift from what Karma promised a year ago. Back then, with the same 566 horsepower, the automaker quoted a 0–60 mph time of 4.0 seconds, and production was expected to start as early as Q4 2025. Now the sprint time has dropped to 3.7 seconds, the price has come down, and the delivery timeline is finally pinned to a specific month.

Buyers can already move to configuring their car. Reserving a build takes a $5,000 deposit, and Karma’s own terms are careful to note that a reservation is not a sales contract.

Gyesera arrives at a moment when pricey EREVs have stopped being a purely Chinese story. Zeekr’s 9X, for instance, shows just how far the premium segment has pushed power and equipment: its hybrid system makes 898 horsepower, and its battery is considerably larger. Karma isn’t answering with the biggest numbers on the sheet — instead it’s leaning on American production, a four-seat Grand Coupe body, and a noticeably lower entry price.

Next up are the Amaris GT and the fully electric Kaveya. The former is expected in Q4 2027, while the Kaveya, with over 1,000 horsepower, arrives in early 2028. But it’s Gyesera’s December launch that will now test whether the new pricing can turn Karma’s years-long relaunch into real deliveries.
