Brabus Bodo Cabriolet 2026: price, specs and top speed

Brabus has unveiled the Bodo Cabriolet — an open-top version of its first major coachbuilt project, built on the technical foundation of the Aston Martin Vanquish. The run is limited to 77 examples, and Car and Driver and Road & Track both put the starting price at roughly $1.24 million.

Underneath the fully carbon-fiber body, the twin-turbo 5.2-liter V12 carries over unchanged. After Brabus’s reworking, it produces 1,000 hp and 1,200 Nm of torque. Power reaches the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic and an electronically controlled differential. The Cabriolet sprints to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.0 seconds, with top speed electronically limited to 360 km/h (224 mph).

One of the most visible differences from the coupe is the new set of 22-inch BRABUS Monoblock Z-GT Platinum Edition wheels. For the Bodo Cabriolet, the company worked with Pirelli on a bespoke Pirelli P Zero tire: 285/30 ZR22 up front and 335/25 ZR22 at the rear. The cabin is trimmed in Masterpiece leather, with Bodo Buschmann’s signature and an embroidered silhouette of the car paying tribute to the brand’s founder.

SPEEDME.RU previously covered the original BRABUS Bodo: the coupe got the same V12 with 1,000 hp and 1,200 Nm but rode on 21-inch wheels wrapped in Continental SportContact 7 Force tires. Brabus currently has a showroom example of the coupe available in Germany for €1.371 million including VAT.

It would be misleading to call the Cabriolet cheaper than the coupe based on these figures: the $1.24 million price applies to a different market, while the German coupe price already includes VAT. What matters more is the scale of the project itself — Brabus is turning the Bodo from a single coachbuilt showcase into a proper model family, keeping the same V12, the same carbon-fiber body and the same 77-unit limit.
