At the Chengdu Auto Show 2025, Mercedes-Benz unveils the electric G-Class, EQE 500 4MATIC sedan and SUV, new E-Class hybrids, plus AMG G 63 and GLS 450 Luxury.

At the 2025 Chengdu Auto Show, Mercedes-Benz showcased a broad spread of models—from sedans and crossovers to bona fide off-road icons.

The electric lineup expanded with the EQE 500 4MATIC in both sedan and SUV form; each offers up to 300 kW, all-wheel drive, and a generous suite of digital services. The E 350 e L plug-in hybrid is tuned for second-row comfort, while the E 300 Exclusive Sport puts the emphasis on driving dynamics. Aimed at younger buyers, the compact C 260 L Night Sport Sedan brings a sharper edge to the range.

In the open-top corner, the CLE 300 4MATIC Cabriolet blends premium design with the everyday assurance of all-wheel drive. Among crossovers, the GLC 300 4MATIC Coupe stands out with refreshed styling and expanded driver-assistance systems—a package that should suit daily use.

The stars of the stand were the SUVs: the AMG G 63 with its V8 Biturbo kept its unmistakable character, while the fully electric G-Class delivered a vivid debut that signaled the brand’s push toward electrification. Closing the presentation, the flagship GLS 450 4MATIC Luxury underscored family comfort and status. Together, they suggest a brand leaning into the future without losing what made it iconic.
