Toyota has unveiled the most extreme version of the Land Cruiser GR Sport yet—the Rally Raid—created to celebrate the team's 12th consecutive victory in the production-car category at the Dakar Rally. It rolls on 18-inch Enkei PDT1 wheels shod with Toyo Open Country off-road tires, with red brake calipers, tow hooks, mud flaps and TLC-branded graphics to match. The headline change sits underneath: a reworked suspension and upgraded body mounts that enhance its off-road capability. Inside, there are sport seats trimmed in leather and Alcantara plus a Rally Raid badge. The focus on hardware over cosmetics makes the package feel genuinely purposeful. There are no changes under the hood: the 3.3-liter twin-turbo diesel V6 produces 304 hp and 700 Nm, paired with a 10-speed automatic and electronic differential locks.Only 12 Rally Raid vehicles will be built, along with 12 conversion kits for current GR Sport owners. In Japan, the special edition is priced at 9.38 million yen (about $63,500). Applications are being taken via a dealer lottery from September 11 to 28, with first deliveries slated for December.
