At the 2025 Chengdu Auto Show, Dongfeng Nissan rolled out the updated N7 electric sedan. The new model adds a fresh Rose Mocha body color and keeps pricing competitive: from 119,900 to 149,900 yuan (about 1.35–1.69 million rubles). Built on the Tianyan architecture co-developed with Chinese partners, it is aimed at family buyers.

Measuring 4,930 mm long with a 2,915 mm wheelbase, the N7 offers a genuinely airy cabin. The standout feature is the AI Zero-Pressure Cloud seats: they employ 49 sensors, 19 cushions and 12 massage zones, while an AI algorithm fine-tunes the seating position to the driver. For long-haul comfort, there’s a 5.8-liter fridge plus heating, ventilation and massage for the front seats.

The exterior follows Nissan’s latest EV design language: a concealed grille, two-tier LED headlights with 710 light sources and OLED modules, plus smart lighting scenarios. Along the sides are frameless doors and flush handles, while the 19-inch wheels come in several designs. The look lands clean and modern without shouting about it.

Inside, the theme is pared-back with a tech-forward twist: a 15.6-inch 2.5K display, a Snapdragon 8295P chip and voice control powered by DeepSeek AI. The car supports CarPlay alongside local ecosystems, which makes daily use straightforward for different types of drivers.

Driver assistance gets special attention: the Momenta system enables NOA functions on highways and in city traffic, and also offers route memory and intelligent parking. On paper, that’s a well-rounded set for everyday tasks.

Two e-motor options are available—160 kW or 200 kW. LFP batteries deliver 510 to 635 km of range (CLTC), and a quick charge from 30 to 80% takes just 14 minutes. There’s also a 6.6 kW external outlet for powering devices. The figures look strong for the segment.

Rivals include the Changan Qiyuan A07 and Dongfeng eπ007, yet the N7 is already edging ahead: in July it reached 6,455 units, versus 4,551 for the A07 and 2,208 for the eπ007. The gap suggests the formula is resonating with buyers.
