The UK’s Caravan and Motorhome Club has announced its Tow Car of the Year 2026, and the headline winner is the Volkswagen Passat R-Line 2.0 TSI with 204 hp and a DSG transmission. Judges highlighted the estate’s stability on the road, its composed reactions to sudden maneuvers, and the ample power it brings to towing duties.Beyond the top trophy, the Passat also led the 1300–1500 kg class and took the title of best family tow car.
