Tuner BRABUS has officially entered the electric motorcycle segment, unveiling three models at Milan Design Week 2026. As company representatives told SPEEDME, the line-up includes the DAB 1a BRABUS, BRABUS URBAN E and the limited-run FIRST EDITION. The new machines target urban use and offer up to 27 kW of power, 475 Nm of torque and a range of up to 150 km.BRABUS premieres in a new segmentThe debut took place in Milan, one of the world’s key design stages. That was no coincidence: BRABUS is betting not only on performance, but also on visual identity. Company head Konstantin Buschmann said the brand is entering a “new segment and a new audience”, adding that it should create a “wow effect from the very first second”. In doing so, BRABUS continues its strategy of expanding beyond automotive tuning.Up to 475 Nm and instant accelerationThe flagship BRABUS URBAN E gets roughly 20% more output, rising to 27 kW (37 hp) and 475 Nm of torque. The standard DAB 1a BRABUS delivers 23 kW and 395 Nm.The electric motorcycles use a 72-volt battery with a 7.1 kWh capacity, enough for up to 150 km on a single charge. Top speed is limited to 120 km/h, while charging to 100% takes around three to four hours from a regular power outlet.A key feature is the selectable riding modes, ranging from an efficiency setting to a Nitrous Boost mode that briefly unlocks maximum power for overtaking.Premium design and limited seriesThe bikes wear BRABUS’s signature look: carbon-fibre panels, gloss-black surfaces and accents inspired by the brand’s supercars. Masterpiece leather and Alcantara are used throughout, along with distinctive touches such as an illuminated emblem.Particular attention goes to the FIRST EDITION version, with each of its four colour variations limited to just 10 units. Prices for those models reach €32,500, while the entry version starts at €16,900.DAB Motors co-founder Simon Dabadie said the project is “not just a collaboration, but the joint creation of a new concept for urban mobility”.BRABUS is effectively opening up a new market for itself, one in which not only power and technology matter, but design as a decisive purchase factor. Electric motorcycles are becoming part of the premium segment, and projects like these could accelerate the transformation of the wider urban mobility market, where competition is already extending beyond cars.
