General Motors has expanded the 2026 Chevrolet Silverado HD line-up with a new Stars & Steel Special Edition. It is part of the broader Stars & Steel collection celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States, and combines patriotic styling, off-road packs and a heavy towing pack.
For the Silverado 2500 HD, the Stars & Steel pack is priced at $13,145. It requires the 6.6-litre Duramax V8 L5P turbodiesel, which costs another $9,990, so the total premium reaches $23,135. For the Silverado 3500 HD, the pack alone is $12,195, and bundled with the mandatory diesel it climbs to $22,185.
Standard items include Stars & Steel graphics, the Trail Boss and Z71 Off-Road packs, plus the LTZ Convenience Package II and the LTZ Plus Package. The pack also adds off-road side steps with extra ground clearance, a sunroof, the Max Trailering Package and the prep for a Gooseneck / 5th Wheel hitch.
The kit also brings a soft tonneau cover for the bed, all-weather floor liners and a black wheel-lock kit. The special edition is offered only on the LTZ trim with the Crew Cab body, the standard bed and single rear wheels.
Buyers can pick from two exterior colours: Summit White or Black. The interior comes only in Jet Black. Among the 2026 model-year newcomers, the Silverado HD Stars & Steel stands out for its mix of patriotic styling, a heavy-duty diesel and serious towing kit.
