Jaguar Land Rover Japan opens orders for two new London Editions: the flagship Westminster and the bolder Range Rover Sport Battersea, completing the four-model series.

Jaguar Land Rover Japan has expanded its Range Rover London Editions range. The second wave brings two special versions: the Range Rover Westminster Edition and the Range Rover Sport Battersea Edition. Official dealers in Japan are already taking orders. The idea behind the series is to translate the character of different London neighbourhoods into the design of each car.

The Velar Belgravia Edition and Evoque Hoxton Edition already arrived in April, and the line-up is now complete with four models. The Westminster Edition is built on the flagship Range Rover and nods to the district that is home to Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace.

On the outside, this version stands apart thanks to premium paint, a Westminster logo and 22-inch wheels with a contrasting diamond-turned finish. Inside, the cabin features natural Black Birch panels with ten lines — a nod to 10 Downing Street. A Meridian 3D Surround Sound system sets the mood.

The D350 SWB with a 3.0-litre inline-six diesel MHEV costs 9.3 million rubles, while the P530 SWB with a 4.4-litre petrol V8 MHEV is priced at 10.4 million rubles. The Range Rover Sport Battersea Edition draws on the Battersea district, where former industrial architecture has been reborn as a modern cultural space. That is why this version looks bolder: a black contrast roof, the Black Exterior Pack and 22-inch Satin Black wheels.

Inside, there are Battersea Edition inscriptions on the centre console and the door sill plates, while the seats gain contrast stitching in Pimento Red or Cinder Grey. This version is available with a 3.0-litre D300 inline-six diesel MHEV and costs 6.36 million rubles.

The London Editions are not about new hardware but about image. Range Rover takes familiar London symbols and turns them into trim details, colours and lettering. For buyers of such SUVs that matters more than another power bump: the car should not only drive expensively but also tell a story.
