Volvo Car USA has unveiled its refreshed 2026 electric lineup, featuring a reworked EX90 flagship, a more attainable EX30 Single Motor, and the outdoors-oriented EX30 Cross Country.

Headlining the updates is the 2026 EX90 with a new 800-volt architecture that enables a 10-minute charge good for 250 km of range. The model also adopts an updated NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Orin compute platform rated at 500 TOPS, enhancing the precision of safety and driver-assistance features. The EX90 can now stop automatically if control is lost, steer clear of collisions in the dark, and warn about slippery roads. On paper, the move to an 800-volt system should make everyday charging feel noticeably easier.

There is also a new EX90 Single Motor, while the Twin Motor Performance variant now develops 670 hp, making it the most powerful Volvo to date. The powertrain spread neatly covers efficiency-minded buyers and those who want maximum punch from the brand’s flagship EV.

For the U.S. market, the EX30 Single Motor starts at $38,950, and the all-wheel-drive EX30 Cross Country—with increased ground clearance and an off-road look—starts at $48,150. Pricing positions the EX30 as the lineup’s entry point, while the Cross Country layers in more capability without straying from the model’s compact footprint.

Taken together, these additions underline Volvo’s push toward full electrification and a smaller carbon footprint, while helping the brand build momentum in North America. The blend of faster charging, stronger computing power, and added driver aids suggests a well-judged step in that direction.
