Mercedes-Benz Vito Sport-X 2026: price, specs and engine in the UK

Up to 733 kg of payload and a trailer weight of up to 2.5 tonnes — the new Mercedes-Benz Vito Sport-X isn’t just about sporty looks. The UK version of the Vito Crew now gets a 190-hp diesel engine, a five-seat cabin, and is offered in L2 and L3 body lengths. Mercedes-Benz UK’s official site states that the Sport-X is available to order from August 2026.

The Sport-X is based on the SELECT trim, but its exterior has been altered more noticeably than a typical styling pack. It gets a different front bumper and grille, an integrated splitter, side skirts, a rear spoiler, gloss-black trim and 19-inch two-tone alloy wheels. Alpine Grey is standard, with seven further colours available at no extra cost.

Inside, the front three-seat bench has been replaced with individual sports seats featuring integrated headrests. The cabin uses black eco-leather and dark grey suede with orange stitching. Standard equipment includes heated seats and steering wheel, wireless smartphone charging, TEMPMATIC climate control, plus blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist and automatic emergency braking.

The two-litre turbodiesel produces 190 hp and 440 Nm, paired with a nine-speed 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission. 0–62 mph takes 10 seconds. The rear bench can be removed to increase cargo space. For comparison, the standard Vito Crew range offers up to six seats and body lengths of up to 5,370 mm, so the Sport-X is deliberately positioned as a more individually focused five-seat configuration. Prices start at £56,995 excluding VAT.

The Sport-X arrives amid a broader refresh of the Mercedes 2026 lineup, with the brand simultaneously preparing new passenger models and the electric VLE. For the current Vito, it’s more a way of making an already-familiar commercial vehicle stand out and feel more premium, without sacrificing its working credentials.
