General Motors has rolled out a new optional configuration for the corporate-spec 2026 Chevrolet Tahoe. The third-row delete package, coded RPO ATD, is offered exclusively on the Commercial (1FL) trim sold to fleet customers. It’s a fresh addition for the 2026 model year and wasn’t available on the 2025 Tahoe. The update lets buyers remove the third-row passenger seats, freeing up a notably larger cargo area. With that space reclaimed, the Tahoe leans harder into duty as a hauler for gear and supplies—an uncomplicated tweak that meaningfully broadens its workday versatility. The 2026 Tahoe also brings a new diesel to the mix: the 3.0-liter I6 LZ0 Duramax turbo-diesel, rated at 305 horsepower and 670 Nm of torque. Gasoline choices remain naturally aspirated, with the 5.3-liter V8 L84 and the 6.2-liter V8 L87. On a fleet vehicle, this spread of engines covers the core needs without overcomplicating the spec sheet.Every 2026 Tahoe rides on GM’s T1 platform, with production taking place at GM’s Arlington plant in Texas.
