Renault has unveiled an updated Captur fitted with a new 1.2 TCe petrol engine rated at 115 hp. The newcomer replaces the previous 1.0 TCe with 90 hp, bringing stronger performance alongside lower fuel consumption.The three-cylinder turbo produces 190 Nm and is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. Average fuel use under the WLTP cycle is 5.7 l/100 km, down from 6.0 l/100 km for its predecessor. Top speed rises to 180 km/h, while the 0–100 km/h sprint now takes 12.3 seconds. In daily driving, the extra torque should make the Captur feel more flexible and less demanding of frequent gear changes.The Renault Captur TCe 115 starts at 24,200 euros for the Evolution trim and 26,200 euros for the Techno specification. The new model meets Euro 6E standards and is available to drivers subject to power restrictions. As a package, the refreshed Captur continues to stand out among urban crossovers for its blend of lively responses, comfort, and restrained fuel appetite.
