Dacia is preparing to unveil a new C-segment estate that, according to Autocar, is due in 2026 and will be pitched as a more attainable alternative to the class’s usual contenders. Brand chief Catherine Adt said the strong debut of the Bigster crossover reinforced the company’s confidence in pushing into larger segments. The timing feels logical: when pricing is sensible, practical body styles tend to draw steady interest.

Early information suggests the project, known internally as C-Neo, is essentially a stretched Sandero around 4.6 meters long. It will sit higher off the ground yet avoid the more assertive, SUV-like attitude. At Dacia, they expect continued demand from buyers who want a roomy but not oversized car—especially with the Ford Focus leaving the scene and prices for the Golf, Astra, and Corolla edging upward. That gap in the market is hard to miss.

The new wagon will use the CMF-B platform and offer mild- and full-hybrid versions with outputs of up to 155 hp. All-wheel drive is still under consideration. A tentative starting price below €28,000 would position it under the Skoda Octavia Combi; if they hold that line, the value proposition could be difficult for rivals to ignore.
