Nissan has opened sales of the refreshed 2025 Qashqai e‑Power in the UK. The standout detail: despite stronger numbers, the base price holds steady at £34,860 (around 3.8 million rubles). For a mid-cycle update, that’s the kind of move customers notice.

The lineup spans Acenta Premium, N‑Connecta, N‑Design, Tekna, and Tekna+. Some trims even became a touch cheaper: N‑Design and Tekna dropped by 5,400 rubles. At the top, the Tekna+ starts from £43,210.

The real changes sit under the hood. The new‑generation e‑Power system pairs a 1.5‑liter turbo engine working as a generator with an electric motor. Total output rises from 191 to 204 hp, with an extra 15 hp available in Sport mode. The setup keeps the driving feel close to an EV: the crossover moves on electric power while the gasoline engine simply recharges a 2.1 kWh battery. In everyday traffic, that character is exactly what makes e‑Power appealing.

Efficiency improves as well: fuel consumption is down 15% to 4.1 L/100 km on the WLTP cycle, while CO₂ emissions fall 12% from 116 to 102 g/km. The potential range now reaches 1,199 km. Engineers also reduced cabin noise levels to 5.6 dB, a change that should make longer trips feel calmer.

Production is handled at the Sunderland plant, which has been building the Qashqai for 19 years. More than 4.5 million units have rolled out so far, with a new car leaving the line every 2.5 minutes. The first 2025 models are reaching dealers in late August.
