Cadillac will update its three-row electric crossover, the Vistiq, for the 2027 model year. The main technical change will be a switch from the CCS1 connector to Tesla's NACS standard. The Vistiq will become the third GM model with the new connector, following the 2026 Cadillac Optiq and the 2027 Chevrolet Bolt. Using NACS will allow the vehicle to connect directly to Tesla's extensive Supercharger network in North America. Importantly, this switch to the new standard will not affect the maximum charging speed.Along with the connector update, the list of available adapters for home and public charging will also change. GM will offer solutions for AC and DC connections, as well as options for bidirectional V2H charging. The Cadillac Vistiq is built on GM's BEV3 platform and features a dual-motor setup producing 615 horsepower. Its 102 kWh battery provides a range of up to 490 km.Production of the 2027 Vistiq will begin on May 18, 2026, at GM's plant in Spring Hill, Tennessee. The model will retain its Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, and Platinum trims. For buyers, this move matters because it reduces infrastructure risks by expanding access to the largest fast-charging network. In the competitive three-row EV-SUV segment, charging convenience could become just as important a factor as power or range.
