Zeekr, the premium brand under the Geely umbrella, is entering the German market with an unconventional sales and service strategy. Instead of building a traditional dealership network, the company is focusing on a digital model and partnering with independent service providers. At launch, Zeekr is collaborating with Global Automotive Service, a network of around 1,700 independent workshops. These partners will handle both maintenance and some aspects of customer interaction. Initially, 31 service locations are operational, but the plan is to expand to 100 by summer.Car sales are conducted entirely online. Customers can order vehicles through the internet, with test drives arranged through the partner service centers. This approach allows for a faster market entry and reduced operational costs. The starting lineup features three models: the compact Zeekr X crossover, the mid-size Zeekr 7X SUV, and the flagship Zeekr 001 shooting brake. Prices begin at roughly €38,000, positioning the brand competitively in the premium electric vehicle segment. For the initial phase, the primary focus is on corporate clients. First contracts with major companies have already been signed, and the goal for 2026 is to put several thousand vehicles on German roads. However, Zeekr isn't abandoning the traditional model completely. From 2027 onward, the company plans to launch its own dealership network with approximately 50 sales points and expanded service infrastructure.Zeekr's strategy sends a signal to the entire industry. Online sales and independent service partnerships could become the new norm, especially if the brand can deliver the quality and convenience expected in the premium segment.
