Venuum has presented a reworked version of the electric Rolls-Royce Spectre coupe called the Shadow V2. The project radically changes how the model is perceived, turning classic luxury into an aggressive, almost superhero-like car.
The focus is firmly on the exterior. The Spectre gets widened wheel arches, a redesigned bonnet, a new front splitter and side skirts. Every component is shaped to look as though it could have come from the factory, even though the body kit is fully custom. A rear diffuser and a neat ducktail spoiler complete the look.
The colour treatment is built around contrast: a matte black upper body is paired with glossy lower elements. The Rolls-Royce badges are darkened as well, while the wheels feature bespoke centre caps and Pirelli tyres. Overall, the car reads as a bolder and moodier interpretation of the original Spectre.
Mechanically, little appears to have changed. The standard Spectre produces 575 hp and 900 Nm, while the Black Badge version delivers up to 659 hp and 1,075 Nm. The sprint to 100 km/h takes between 4.5 and 4.2 seconds. By all indications, Venuum has left the factory powertrain untouched.
In the end, the Spectre Shadow V2 is less about speed than presence. The project shows how even one of the most conservative luxury EVs can be turned into an expressive and provocative car aimed at a very different audience.
