2027 Buick Enclave: price, Super Cruise, and new features

Buick has changed its approach to equipping the 2027 Enclave. The biggest news concerns the Avenir trim: the Super Cruise package is now standard equipment instead of a separate order. For buyers, that means more technology “in the box,” but also a higher starting price.

The Enclave is one of 19 GM models to offer Super Cruise, including hands-free driving while towing a trailer. The feature itself is still available across all trim levels — what changed is its status as an option. On Preferred and Sport Touring, the Super Cruise package remains optional, while on Avenir it is now mandatory equipment.

The Super Cruise package includes more than the driver-assist system itself. It also bundles Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist and Driver Attention Assist. The latter monitors the driver’s attention, which matters for a system at this level: even if the vehicle helps hold its lane and distance, responsibility for the road stays with the driver. Because of the new standard package, the base price of the Enclave Avenir rose by $3,300 compared with the 2026 model.

For 2027, the Enclave starts at $48,595 for the front-wheel-drive Preferred. The front-wheel-drive Avenir now starts at $65,295. There are other updates too. The 2027 Enclave gets a Surround Vision Recorder, a system that lets owners record and save footage from the exterior cameras. That can come in handy for parking incidents, disputes near the car, or simply keeping an eye on what’s happening around the vehicle.

The second new feature is Cabin Glance and Security Recording. It uses a camera aimed at the cabin, can record what’s happening inside the car, and gives the driver a view of rear-row passengers at the same time. For a three-row family crossover, that’s a practical touch: parents can check on kids or passengers faster, without taking their eyes off the road any longer than usual. Two new exterior colors join the palette — Blue Onyx and Emerald Green Metallic. The top-tier Avenir also gets a new interior color scheme.

The mechanical side hasn’t changed: the Enclave keeps its 2.5-liter turbocharged LK0 engine rated at 328 horsepower and 442 Nm of torque. Regular production of the 2027 Buick Enclave is set to start in late July — as we reported earlier — and the transition between model years will be quick: 2026 production wraps up just a few days before the new one begins.

Assembly stays at the GM Lansing Delta Township Assembly plant in Michigan. The update isn’t radical, but it’s telling. Buick isn’t touching the Enclave’s mechanicals — instead it’s doubling down on electronic assistants, cameras, and comfort features, exactly what large family SUV buyers are increasingly willing to pay for.
