Lamborghini Urus LARGENDA 2026: colored dry carbon, 9-kg hood and KBA approval

Fifteen exterior components on this Lamborghini Urus now share the same lilac shade as the car’s metal body panels. In LARTE Design’s new project, the color doesn’t stop at the doors: it continues across the carbon hood, wheel-arch extensions, diffuser, spoilers and exhaust tips. The company hasn’t named a price yet.

The hard part wasn’t picking the shade — it was carrying it across different materials. Ordinary paint reflects light differently than woven carbon fiber, so the atelier produced several test panels. The carbon parts get their color during manufacturing, not from a wrap or a contrasting black finish. LARTE has already shown it can tint dry carbon to custom shades on other Urus and Porsche Cayenne projects.

The kit includes the hood, front and rear bumper elements, mirror housings, fender inserts, wheel-arch extensions, door moldings, diffuser, two spoiler sections and exhaust tips. The parts bolt onto factory mounting points with screws, clips and certified adhesive — no drilling or cutting into the body. The official catalog also notes LARGENDA’s modular design and compatibility with the Urus S and Performante.

The carbon hood weighs 9 kg — the same as the factory part. LARTE deliberately didn’t chase weight savings at any cost, keeping the intended stiffness and the standard mounting logic intact. The diffuser, according to the atelier, ended up roughly a kilogram lighter than the original.

LARTE Design has already shown its carbon hood, painted to match the body, on another LARGENDA project for the Urus SE, unveiled at the Geneva Supercar Show. A separate body kit has also been developed for the plug-in hybrid Urus SE.

The new project’s second distinction is national type approval for the parts, issued by Germany’s Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA). This isn’t a re-homologation of the whole Lamborghini, but a separate approval for the components: German law allows this procedure for technically independent car parts tied to specific models and a defined mounting method.

The approval covers the Urus, Urus S and Performante, though the rear bumper insert is intended only for the base version because of differences in body shape. All parts carry a 36-month warranty.

“Color has always been LARTE’s way of saying a lot while explaining little, and with this Urus we wanted carbon to stop acting like an accent and start behaving like part of the same surface as the paint, so that one material continues the color story started by another. The fact that this is also our most fully certified project to date isn’t a coincidence, because both ideas grow from the same place: doing the harder version of the work properly, rather than settling for a version that only looks finished from a distance.
