At the Japan Mobility Show 2025, Honda unveiled the near-production Super-One—an electric compact hatchback with the poise of a sports coupe. The model will go on sale in Japan and across Asia as the Honda Super-One, while the British market will know it as the Super-N.

The Super-One wears a “tall-boy” silhouette with short overhangs, flared wheel arches, and black eight-spoke alloys. Up front, the classic Honda badge pairs with round headlights; at the rear, an expansive window and rectangular lights set low in the bumper define the look. A subtle spoiler completes the stance, and the proportions come across as more athletic than boxy.

Inside, the cabin follows a horizontal layout: two screens—one for infotainment and one for the instrument cluster—are visually linked, while physical buttons and rotary knobs remain for climate and key functions. Keeping those tactile controls feels like the right call for everyday use.

Under the skin is a Kei-standard electric setup, and overall length stays under 3.4 meters. A party piece is the Boost mode, which increases power. There’s also a virtual seven-speed gearbox and a simulated engine note, touches aimed at drivers who want a bit more character from their EV.

All told, the Super-One aims to fuse a city-friendly footprint with the verve of a sporty hatchback, opening a fresh chapter in Honda’s electric lineup.
