Bentley Motors debuted the new Supersports in the US at the first FAT Ice Race in Big Sky, Montana. The model, already sold out, showcased dynamic drifting on the icy track.A car from the "Supersports: FULL SEND" project was used at the event, which had previously accelerated to 160 km/h on the Bentley campus in Crewe. Professional racer Lia Block took the wheel in Montana. The only technical change from the version used in filming was the addition of studded tires with 2.5 mm spikes. The ice track also featured the Speed Six Continuation Series "Factory Works" from the Mulliner division, with an exclusive Bedford Grey paint finish and an Oxblood interior. This car highlighted the capabilities of the historical Continuation series. In a separate event, the Bentayga X Concept made its American debut. Based on the Bentayga Speed, this concept features a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine with 650 horsepower, permanent all-wheel drive, and the Bentley Dynamic Ride system (48V). It comes with 22-inch forged wheels, a track widened by 120 mm, a ground clearance of around 310 mm, and a wading depth exceeding 550 mm.The vehicle's height reaches 2.49 m, thanks to expedition equipment on the roof, including a luggage system and additional lighting.Choosing an ice race in Montana for the debut underscores a shift in Bentley's brand strategy. The brand is highlighting not just traditional luxury but also its performance potential in extreme conditions. At the same time, the Bentayga X Concept signals a possible expansion of the lineup toward more utilitarian, off-road-oriented versions, which could strengthen the brand's position in the US market, where demand for premium SUVs remains high.
