Subaru has unveiled its refreshed 2026 lineup, and most models now carry higher stickers than before. The uptick comes down to pricier destination charges and reshuffled equipment, nudging entry points upward while bundling more features in the process.

The Subaru Impreza drops its base trim, so the range now opens at $27,790 for the Sport. The Subaru Crosstrek adds a hybrid variant with a combined 194 hp; the lineup starts at $28,415, while the Crosstrek Hybrid begins at $35,415. The change trims the gap between versions and subtly steers shoppers toward better-equipped configurations.

The Forester holds its $31,445 starting price and adds the Wilderness trim to the family. The BRZ loses its base configuration, kicking off at $37,055, and the new Series.Yellow clears the $40,000 mark—positioning the coupe more as a specialty choice than an entry-level sports car. Meanwhile, the Outback, after a redesign, jumps by more than $5,000 and now starts at $36,445; that bump will be felt by loyalists who prize the model’s value play.

The all-electric Solterra receives a larger 74.4-kWh battery and an estimated range of up to 464 km while holding its $39,945 price—a rare combination of added capability without a higher ask. At the other end of the lineup, the Ascent rises to $42,245.
