At the 2025 Chengdu International Auto Show, one of the most eye-catching stands belonged to Avatr, a premium brand developed with the involvement of Changan, CATL, and Huawei. The company brought four models at once, signaling clear ambitions in the intelligent electric vehicle space.

The Avatr 07 crossover, finished in a saturated green, set the tone for what’s new. Sharp surfacing and slit-like lighting emphasize a dynamic character, while nearby the Avatr 11—already a familiar flagship—appeared in fresh color schemes that keep it feeling current.

The Avatr 06 drew particular interest. In China, it’s offered as a range-extended hybrid with 230–330 km of electric-only driving and as a pure EV with up to 650 km on a charge. Pricing spans 209,900 to 279,900 yuan, and 0–100 km/h takes between 6.9 and 3.9 seconds depending on configuration. The numbers put it squarely in the sweet spot for buyers who want brisk performance without sacrificing everyday range.

Also on display was the Avatr 12, a business-class liftback with an elegant interior finished in light tones and rich in natural materials. A wide-screen layout and a minimalist dashboard project a higher tier of polish, and the overall execution communicates premium intent without shouting.

All Avatr models are built on an 800-volt architecture with support for ultra-fast charging, and the centerpiece is deep integration of Huawei technologies. ADS systems deliver advanced autopilot capabilities, while the intelligent infotainment makes the car feel like a digital gadget on wheels—an identity the brand leans into as much as its design.
