Ferrari has unveiled the new 849 Testarossa in Milan, a hybrid supercar that reimagines the brand’s 1980s icon for today. The newcomer replaces the SF90 Stradale and now sits at the very top of Maranello’s lineup.

Power comes from a 4.0‑liter twin‑turbo V8 rated at 830 hp, working in concert with three electric motors. The system delivers a combined 1,050 hp—50 more than the SF90. Top speed exceeds 330 km/h, and all‑wheel drive is designed to keep the car composed even when the pace climbs.

The model will be offered in two body styles: a coupe starting at €460,000 (around 45 million rubles) and a Spider from €500,000 (almost 49 million rubles). First deliveries to European customers are slated for the second quarter of 2026, with the U.S. to follow, where pricing will be higher due to tariffs.

The 849 Testarossa arrives amid a busy refresh of Ferrari’s range. April saw the debut of the 296 Speciale, and in July the gasoline‑powered Amalfi coupe took over from the Roma. In the coming months, Ferrari plans to show its first electric car, though management stresses that gasoline and hybrid supercars will remain in production.

This Testarossa isn’t just a wink to the ’80s. It reads as Ferrari’s statement that hybrids can deliver drama on par with traditional exotics. Given its positioning and headline numbers, the question for collectors and brand loyalists seems largely settled: the 849 Testarossa is set to be one of the decade’s most sought‑after Ferraris.
