BMW has donated a hybrid sedan, the 750e xDrive, valued at approximately 125,000 euros, to the PGMEE professional school in Burgas. This vehicle is part of the BMW Academy program and marks the second training car received by the institution.

Students specializing in automotive mechanics and mechatronics will use the flagship model to study its design and technology. Key components include a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six B58 engine producing 308 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, an electric motor, and an 18.7 kWh battery. The hybrid system delivers a combined output of 483 horsepower and 700 Nm, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in 4.8 seconds. In all-electric mode, the sedan can cover up to 87 km according to WLTP standards.

Beyond the powertrain, learners will explore the car's driver assistance systems, electronic aids, and onboard technologies. The 7 Series is set to receive an upgraded iDrive X multimedia system in an upcoming refresh.

This initiative aims to train future specialists who will service new 2026 vehicles and complex hybrid powertrains in the premium segment, highlighting the importance of hands-on experience with cutting-edge automotive technology.
