Bentley has revived the storied Supersports badge, unveiling the most extreme Continental GT in the model’s history. The new Supersports is a rear-wheel-drive coupe with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 delivering 657 hp and 590 N·m, and it does without any hybrid hardware. The sprint to 100 km/h takes 3.7 seconds, while top speed reaches 192 mph, placing it among the quickest modern Bentleys.

It is also the lightest Continental GT to date: under 2,000 kg and more than 450 kg down on the GT Speed. To sharpen the handling, the rear track has been widened, an active differential fitted, and both steering and suspension reworked. A 48-volt active anti-roll system keeps body movements in check almost instantly, pointing to a chassis tuned for commitment rather than comfort alone.

Visually, the Supersports signals intent with a substantial front splitter, angular dive planes, a carbon diffuser and a fixed rear wing that can generate up to 300 kg of downforce at speed. Special 22-inch wheels were developed in collaboration with Manthey Racing, a detail that hints at serious track credibility.

The cabin follows a track-focused brief: rear seats are gone, sound insulation is pared back, lightweight bucket seats are installed, and a titanium Akrapovic exhaust underscores the intent.

Production is capped at 500 units. Pricing remains under wraps, but it will sit well above the $285,000 commanded by a standard Continental GT.

The return of Supersports marks a rare moment when Bentley leans away from pure opulence and toward unfiltered driving engagement. Everything about this spec reads as a driver’s manifesto, the kind of car that feels collectible before the first mile is logged.
