Tesla has released Full Self-Driving (Supervised) version 14.2.2.1 just a day after rolling out FSD v14.2.2. Pushed at the end of December 2025, the new build reads as a technical follow-up to the prior release rather than a fresh feature drop.

Owners and testers report that the update behaves confidently in demanding conditions. Lane-keeping stays steady, steering inputs feel free of jitters, and lane changes are executed cleanly in rain—even on roads with faded markings and patches of standing water. Parking performance is also sharper, including in tight spaces where precision tends to matter most.

The earlier FSD v14.2.2 aimed at smoother overall driving, stronger obstacle recognition, and more accurate route completion. It brought an upgraded computer-vision neural network with higher resolution, improving identification of emergency services, road elements, and human gestures.

Users also gained new options for ending a trip, including parking lots, streets, and drop-off areas. Tesla continues to iterate quickly, nudging its cars toward greater autonomy, while the system in its current form still relies on driver supervision. The rapid follow-up suggests a deliberate polish pass, with refinements that stand out where conditions are messy and margins are thin.
