Jetson Aero is wrapping up 2025 on a positive note: the company is steadily handing over the first production Jetson One units, a personal eVTOL that can be flown in the United States without a pilot’s license. Another unit reached its new owner in California right before Christmas, a clear marker of the brand’s main milestone this year: after delays, real customer deliveries are underway.

Jetson highlights the role of early buyers who waited for years. One of the most notable is Palmer Luckey, the founder of Anduril Industries: his Jetson One became the first officially delivered example in September 2025, even though it was initially expected earlier. With that milestone achieved, the queue is moving, and the company is demonstrating that handovers are finally running smoothly.

The Jetson One’s big draw is how quickly owners can get airborne. The manufacturer provides hands-on training, after which customers can fly practically on the day of delivery. Luckey’s session, for instance, took under 50 minutes. The lack of a pilot’s license requirement under American rules has fueled excitement in the personal transport niche.

The price has risen from $128,000 to $148,000, yet demand has not cooled. Production is reportedly sold out not only for 2026 but also for 2027, with new slots available from 2028. Jetson has also moved its headquarters to California and is expanding demonstration flights and training infrastructure. For a brand scaling up, that step looks logical, and the crowded order book speaks volumes about the appeal of a machine that’s simple to learn and quick to put to use.
