Manhart shows that tuning doesn’t have to orbit only the wild M badges, unveiling the MHX6 500 based on the BMW X6 xDrive40i. The starting point is the entry X6 with the 3.0-liter B58 inline-six, rated at 381 hp and 520 Nm in stock form. From there, the tuner follows a familiar but well-judged path: the in-house MHtronik module lifts output to 480 hp and 630 Nm. In effect, it’s nearly a 100-hp gain without changing the model or stepping into pricier M territory. To make the gains felt beyond the spec sheet, the MHX6 500 receives a stainless-steel exhaust with a valve and four 100-mm tips. The system is tied in via Manhart downpipes with 300-cell catalytic converters. One important footnote for Europe: these downpipes are listed without TUV approval, which means that for German roads, the legal route is to stick with the stock setup. The factory brakes remain, though Manhart underscores that upgrades are available on request. Visually, the SUV gets a clear identity: 22-inch Concave One wheels (10.5J front, 11.5J rear) wrapped in 295/30 and 335/25 rubber, plus a mild drop thanks to new links for the air suspension. Carbon pieces — a splitter, diffuser, lip spoiler, and mirror caps — join the brand’s traditional silver-accent graphics. Familiar ingredients, but they work: the stance and details signal intent without shouting.Inside, the changes are small yet upscale: carbon accents on the steering wheel and shift paddles, along with branded floor mats. It’s enough to add a sense of purpose without reworking the cabin.
